Use the Scotch-Brite™ Clean and Strip Disc for a superior finish. Our non-woven discs provide a safe alternative to wire brushes in order to effectively eliminate welds and remove rust and old paint. They cover a wider surface and deliver a finer result, possibly eliminating the need for further finishing steps. Scotch-Brite Clean and Strip discs use a sharp, synthetic, extra coarse silicon carbide abrasive grit, typically used in low pressure applications such as paint prep. It breaks down faster than aluminium oxide for a superior finish. Our Scotch-Brite industrial abrasives are unique surface conditioning products. We combine them with non-woven nylon or other synthetic fibres to create a system that delivers consistent results throughout the product lifespan. The discs are perfect for removing soft coatings. Together with the aggressive abrasive mineral, the open material ensures a smooth-operating disc that is clog resistant. Because the fibres do not get easily clogged, the abrasive minerals keep their high cutting performance.
